Get it on your phone.
Groundwind installs from your phone's browser. No app store, no account: it gets its own icon and opens full screen, like any app.
On a computer? Point your phone's camera here to open it there, then follow the steps below on the phone.
iPhone
Open hunt.groundwind.app in Safari, then tap ⋯ beside the address.Tabs at the top or bottom of Safari? You have a Share button already: tap it and skip to step 3.
Tap Share.
Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.Not in the list? At its foot, tap Edit Actions, then Add to Home Screen.
Leave Open as Web App on, then tap Add.
Open Groundwind from its new icon, and use the icon from now on.The icon keeps its own maps, apart from Safari: save your area from inside it (below).
Android
Open hunt.groundwind.app in Chrome, then tap ⋮ at the top right.
Tap Install app.Some phones say Add to home screen, then Install.
Tap Install.
Open Groundwind from its new icon. It runs full screen, like any app.
Then Before you lose signal
Save your area on the phone.
- Open Groundwind from its icon.
- ⋯ → Settings → Maps on this phone → Download. The app reloads when it's done.
- Tap Moose ▾ at the top left to pick what you're hunting.
The forecast saves itself whenever you have signal. The guide walks through the rest, a few taps a step.
